Six years ago, I came to IT somewhat by chance, thanks to an internship offered during my master's degree in project management. IT was a completely unknown world for me. I was quickly won over by the breadth of possibilities this field could offer. I lead and mobilize teams to deliver projects that make a difference for our clients and employees. I am fortunate to work with a range of trades daily, understanding their challenges and solving problems by working together. What motivates me the most in IT is the speed at which technologies evolve. It is a stimulating field in which creativity and a thirst for challenges are always present. It is inspiring to work in such an environment. When I heard about FORTES, getting involved was a no-brainer. I want to deconstruct the preconceived notions that IT is only for men.  It is by demystifying and promoting opportunities that we will achieve diversity and equity. If, by sharing my journey, I can trigger the curiosity of women and lead them to explore IT to find happiness, it will be for me, mission accomplished.
