I am curious, eager to learn, and deeply enjoy working with people. I started my career in a technology start-up where I played several roles before moving into the world of IT strategy consulting. I then joined BDC with the Advisory Services team, then the Corporate Strategy team. After 12 years on the business side at BDC, and with the support of the current leaders, I achieved my wish to return to IT where I am currently leading a data modernization program. I really like technology although I am not a technologist by trade. This is a strength not an issue. It means that I bring complementary skills to those of my colleagues and together we are stronger. I wanted to get involved with FORTES to facilitate the integration of women who do not necessarily come from a typical background.
