Inspiring and courageous

I studied urban planning and joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a reservist before starting my career in technology. Presently, I’m working on building a high-performance and sustainable infrastructure capable of propelling innovation. The future of the next generation is close to my heart. As a mother of two teenagers, I regularly adapt my management style to accommodate the diversity that is highlighted by different generations within my team. I value authenticity, adaptability, curiosity, and courage, all values that have paved the way for my career in IT. After several management positions, I noticed the significant lack of women in IT, a field that is nevertheless full of opportunities. Cofounder of FORTES, it's my way of giving back to women. FORTES is also a concrete way to reduce the gender gap in this environment and support the next generations by enabling them to meet challenges without borders. To those who read this, I would like to tell you not to be afraid of falling or of failure. This will allow you to develop the reflexes and muscles to get back up, to overcome the crippling fear of failure and to open to endless possibilities.  When you know how to get back up, you don't have to worry about falling.
